Product Introduction

This exceptional raw pu-erh cake is crafted from ancient tea trees (100-300 years old) growing in the pristine forests of Yiwu Mountain. The spring 2024 harvest captures the essence of this legendary terroir - known for producing teas with unmatched elegance, sweetness, and complexity.

Product Features

  • 100% ancient tree material from Yiwu's old-growth forests
  • Traditional sun-dried processing preserving natural enzymes
  • Classic Yiwu profile: sweet, floral, with delicate astringency
  • Excellent aging potential - will develop complexity over decades
  • Hand-pressed using traditional stone mold

Tasting Notes

The liquor is golden-yellow with excellent clarity. First infusions reveal fresh floral notes with hints of honey and wildflowers. The texture is silky smooth, coating the palate with a sweet aftertaste that lingers for minutes. Young Yiwu's characteristic gentle astringency transforms quickly into sweetness (huigan). As the tea opens through multiple infusions, layers of fruit, honey, and subtle forest floor emerge.

Classic Yiwu elegance

Quality: ★★★★★ | Value: ★★★★☆ | Collection: ★★★★★

This tea exemplifies what makes Yiwu special. The floral sweetness is immediately apparent, with no harshness despite being a young sheng. Excellent huigan and tea energy. I'll be buying more to age.
