Teaperson is committed to customer satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a straightforward return and refund process. Our policy is designed to be fair and transparent, ensuring you can shop with confidence when buying Chinese tea online.

✅ All returns are processed within 30 days of the original purchase date.

2. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, please ensure the following conditions are met:

  • The item was purchased directly from Teaperson (teaperson.com)
  • The return request is made within 30 days of delivery
  • The product is in its original condition, unused, and with all original packaging intact
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation email) is available
  • Food safety seals on tea products must remain unbroken unless the product is defective

3. How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at ynxiaocia@qq.com or via WeChat (ID: 19535353597) with your order number and reason for return
  2. Receive Authorization: Our team will review your request and provide a Return Authorization (RA) number within 1-2 business days
  3. Ship the Item: Pack the item securely and include the RA number on the outside of the package
  4. Track Your Return: Use a trackable shipping method and retain the tracking number
  5. Refund Processing: Once received and inspected, refunds are processed within 5-7 business days

4. Refund Options

We offer the following refund options:

  • Original Payment Method: Refund to your original payment method (PayPal, credit card, etc.)
  • Store Credit: Receive store credit for future purchases (processed immediately)
  • Bank Transfer: For customers who paid via wire transfer, refunds can be sent to your bank account

Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days after we receive the returned item. The refund will appear in your account within 5-7 additional business days depending on your bank or payment provider.

5. Shipping Costs

⚠️ Return Shipping Costs:

  • If the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective, damaged), Teaperson will cover return shipping costs
  • If the return is for other reasons (changed mind, wrong selection), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs

6. Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of food products, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened tea products where the food safety seal has been broken (unless defective)
  • Customized or personalized tea products
  • Tea samplers that have been partially consumed
  • Products past their expiration date (though our tea products typically have long shelf lives)
  • Items purchased from third-party sellers (please check the seller's return policy)

7. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective product, please:

  1. Take photos of the damaged item and packaging immediately upon receipt
  2. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and your order number
  3. We will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs

We take product quality seriously. If there are any issues with the quality, taste, or condition of our teas, please let us know — we want to make it right.
